Throughout this course my overall experience has been wonderful.  I was blessed with an instructor and fellow peers who offered very useful and insightful information regarding various topics.  The information that captured my attention the most was some of the current articles I researched on Speech language disorders concerning my Course Project Major Assessment.  It was very interesting to read how society, some educators, and families of SPL children understood the emotional side of SPL children.  As an early childhood advocate, understanding emotions of young children is very important in their stages of development; therefore focusing on positive early childhood development, I believe, should be one of the main factors in future research.
